2. Abu-Simbel: This archaeological site comprises of two massive rock-cut temples in southern Egypt on the western bank of Lake Nasser. This twin temple was originally carved out of the mountainside during the reign of Pharaoh Ramses, in the 13th century BC, as an eternal monument dedicated to him and his queen Nefertari. This complex was relocated completely in the 1960s, since there was a threat of its submersion in Lake Nasser due to the construction of the Aswan High Dam.

3. Egyptian Museum: This unique museum houses at least 120,000 items from ancient Egyptian. The museum is divided into two main floors, the ground floor and the first floor. On the ground floor, you can witness an extensive collection of papyrus and coins used by the ancient Egyptians. On the first floor, you will be awestruck by the artefacts from the last two dynasties of Ancient Egypt and also displays of some artefacts from the Valley of the Kings. The main highlights include the objects from the Tomb of Tutankhamen and the Royal Mummy Room, which contains 27 royal mummies from pharaonic times.
